Welcome To Central Baptist Church's Worship Ministry

Welcome to our unique worship experience, the Blend Service! Here, we bring together the best of both worlds - traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs - creating a powerful and meaningful connection with God through music. Our belief in the transformative power of music drives us to offer a space where people from all walks of life can unite in worship. At the core of our music ministry lies the Word of God. Scripture plays a central role in shaping our worship, and we strive to share the good news of Jesus Christ through both the reading of scripture and the singing of theologically accurate choruses. When you join us at the Blend Service, you can expect a beautiful fusion of timeless hymns and contemporary worship melodies. Each song is thoughtfully selected to help you experience a deep and authentic connection with God. We invite you to come, worship with us, and rejoice in the joy of music firmly grounded in the word of God. Join us for this exceptional worship journey, where we celebrate unity in diversity, and together, we grow closer to God through the harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary worship. See you at the Blend Service!

Our Elements Of Worship

God Centered

Scriptural Accurate

True worship is not about what we want but is instead about what we give. Our focus is not on the talent of performance, but on the Glorification of the Father.  Our drive is not the hearing of our favorite song but on the message the God is presenting through the songs. We believe that God-centered worship should focus on declaring His glory and proclaiming His salvation to the world. Our music and worship should be centered on lifting up God and making His name known.
The importance of scripturally accurate worship is emphasized throughout the Bible, as worship that is not grounded in the truth of God's word can lead to confusion, error, and even idolatry. Our worship at Central Baptist Church strives to always present scripture as God gave it. We believe all scripture is God breathed and should always be present in the context in which it was given.

"God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."
- John 4:24

"You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you."
- Deuteronomy 4:2

Participatory

A Lifestyle

Worship is not a concert or a performance.  Worship is not reserved for a few or talented. Worship is for he whole body. Participatory worship is an important aspect of Christian worship, as it allows believers to actively engage with God and with one another in a meaningful way. As we worship, we should seek to come before God with thanksgiving, encourage and build up one another, learn from and teach one another, and express our personal praise and thanksgiving to God.
Worship is not just something we do during a church service or in a specific time or place. It should be a way of life. Worship as a lifestyle means that we recognize and honor God's presence and sovereignty in every aspect of our lives.  As we make worship a lifestyle, we develop a deeper relationship with God and grow in our understanding of His character and love for us.

"Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts."
- Colossians 3:16

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship."
- Romans 12:1
